Mediation in Turkey is carried out by the Turkish Ministry of Justice. Mediation activities are conducted through mediators affiliated with the Ministry of Justice. You can apply for mediation either through the judiciary or directly contact a mediator to officially initiate your mediation request.
Application from formal mediation offices, which are located in courtyards, is possible but you must hire a lawyer first or you must apply by yourself physically.
The decisions reached through mediation can be given the status of a court order, and in matters agreed upon during mediation, it is not possible to initiate a lawsuit again.
